MP3 Player with remote control

i want an mp3 player with a remote control.
im a carpark security guard and i want to be able to switch off the player
while my hands are in my pockets.

i want the fact im listening to an mp3 player as discreat as possible so i want the wire inside my coat and i wear a hat so the ear phones arnt on show to much. but if i see a customer i want to be able to mute the player with a remote so i dont have to keep unbuttoning my coat or taking the ear buds out lol.

can you buy mp3 players with remotes ?

Try searching for "wireless rf remote mp3 player" in google. You'll have to make sure any remote you get is RF and not infrared (infrared requires line of sight).

You might be better off with a Sansa clip which is quite small, and just buying a 3.5mm headphone extension. If you want an MP3 player with a remote it will most likely be bluetooth and drain the batter life.

I use a cowon s9 and has bluetooth option and apparently can work with bluetooth remotes but afaik thats the only one I know of with a wireless remote.

in the end i've decided i can use the mp3 player in my trouser pocket as long as the earphone cord is long enough. just a quick pause if a pesky customer needs me
