Hey just me 
My fiancée™ needs a transcriber or similar device for someone who is writing a book, but she is putting it into text.
What she needs is something like the old tape devices that with the aid of a foot pedal you could rewind and play at any time. What we need is a modern equivelant i.e MP3 format and with a similar control system. What exists out there as going to an old school tape system is a bit useless imo (and also quite hard to find in shops), I'm sure instead of having to have a bulky machine there must be software out there somewhere with a perihperal device to control the playback...
