Im looking for a freeware mp4 converter. Any suggestions?

I tried AVS video converter which works fine but leaves a 'watermark' in the middle of the screen at intervals unless you purchase the reg. and its not ideal when im watching the new episode of heroes on my lunch break.

vidrop is another, I use it for my 4.3" pmp and find the the file plays more smoothly than when using format factory. You can setup a preset for vidrop which is what I have done, so height, width, fps, bitrate, audio codec etc.

Had a quick look at a few of the listed converters and yes i have gone for handbrake. quite simple to use, no extra downloads needed to run and GUI not to bad either.
