MP4 file to DVD

Hi all

How would I go about taking an MP4 file and turning it into something than a stnadard set top DVD player could play? I've tried just burning the file to a DVD, but at least 2 players won't play it, and I don't know where to go from here.

ConvertXtoDVD, not free but they might have a trial version? I have the full copy and it does convert anything i throw at it to DVD format and keeps all the voice in sync with the video unlike other programs i've used!

Another vote for ConvertXtoDVD, great little program, also allows you to add custom backgrounds etc.

I use DVD Flick, works well, free and never had any trouble with it.
