someone drives past with an SMG and you phone the police , and using your knowledge that you got from playing counter strike or something, you described a gun...

yet you probably didnt take note of the registration plate as it drove back and forth.

i was on phone to them a while. they wanted to know where i last saw the car, how old the youths were, if i recognized them, if i knew anything about firearms, what was distinctive about the car etc. what colour was the gun? a bit of a wierd one, and what was he doing with it. etc
