MPC-HC oddness!

I've updated to the latest build from xru and when I play a file, any type, I get audio and subtitles, but no image.

I thought this odd, so I uninstalled and installed an earlier version but the same things is happening on that too.
Any ideas what I can check?

run dxwebsetup (to get latest dx9)
install latest graphics card drivers

seems ok now. I pulled the latest version from the actual MPC-HC site, so not the latest build, but still, works now :confused:

Chuck this file (right click save it) in your mpc-hc directory, will give you nicer looking controls

Dragging by the screen in the latest nightly seems broken for me, the one on the official site was fine

I have been using the mpc-hc with all the internal codecs disabled with ffdshow x64 and i am impressed with performance.

Thanks for the toolbar trick, did not know you could do that.

What do i need to get this DXVA working, i have an ati 3850 but when i play x264 it never uses dxva.

Thanks bled. I'm sticking with the official build at the mo although the nightly works fine on my laptop

Btw, if you use that toolbar.bmp from above, reinstalling or putting a new version on will leave the file there, so you have the controls for good
