MPG Conversion

Can someone just confirm this is right for me as my numbers are a bit odd?

VCDS logged my Audi's Speed (km/h) and Consumption (l/h).

To convert this into MPG I did...

Speed (km/h) / Consumption (l/h) = (km/l)

(km/l) * (1KM in Miles = 0.621371192)/(1 Liter in Gallon = 0.219969) = m/g or MPG

Or have I made a silly mistake (which is normal for me).

Thanks in advance.

You need to use distance, not speed to get a consumption figure, so your calculations are moot anyway.

He has speed (distance per unit time) and consumption (volume per unit time) which is all you need to be able to calculate an instantaneous fuel consumption in mpg (or even averaged if he integrates all the measurements).

The calculations look fine to me.

Sorry, I should have added I am after instantaneous and not average.

I'll go through my sheets again.

Thanks everyone! :D
