I'm actually shocked that new buses are less efficient than older ones but at the same time it doesn't surprise me. See what annoys me the most about newer buses is how powerful they are. Why does a bus need to be able to pull away so hard everyone falls over and ends up at the back? It's only got to be able to do 30mph in most of its applications so why are they able to charge about in the way that they do?
Overall it does look like as long as a bus has an average of about 4 people on it at any one time it is better than everyone driving but I really did think things might have come along a bit. I'm shocked at the bendy bus though tbh

We have old manchester busses or something on my route justnow,they are every ten minutes. We also get quite a few 1 year old busses aswell,not for my area though as they would get taken apart.
