MPG - what you get?

My record is 304 miles to 43 lites of fuel which is 32mpg.

I usually get 280 miles from around the same amount of fuel so about 30mpg on average.

This last fill up I've done 200 miles on about 43l again. 20mpg :D :rolleyes: ;)

I have a 50l tank but the red light comes on way before that and drops below the bottom marker worryingly.

Edit: 03 Civic Type-R by the way.

40mpg average. That's a mix of town driving, hard accelerating and 95mph cruise.

A6 2.0 TDI

I can get it reading 62mpg at 40mph on the cruise over a couple of miles but who wants to drive like that :p.
 
Normally about 23mpg, although if I behave myself & drive in a very boring way, up to about 28/29. (BMW Z4M)

Getting a nice sensible diesel soon to do the work commute, as I'll be doing about 400 miles per week... and I'm unlikely to be able to stick to the kind of speeds that give 28/29 mpg! :D

Thats the real problem isn't it....it might be possible to get good figures with a light right foot...but as soon as you start having fun it just drops and drops! :D
 
Average around 40mpg around town, and up to 60 on motorways e.t.c


Chipped Fabia vRS

I've never managed to get it to below 30, and that's with constant red line and really abusive driving. Average since owning the car is 40, but mostly town / back road miles.
 
Averaging 55mpg - Fabia vRS - 70/30 split between motorway and urban driving. Could probably eek a little more if I didnt boot it as much but hey.
 
Usually around 26/27 with normal/proper driving. Light right foot/mainly motorway I can see around 32/33ish. Prelude 2.2VTEC
 
23-25mpg solid town driving short journeys. (High teens if I cain the arse off it :p)

Can get 32-34mpg on a run - saying that I don't hang-about on the motorway to try and hit that :p
