I went last year to Birmingham. Was pretty good. I'd describe the show as a live version of Top Gear. Got to see 2 "pro stunt" drivers wreck a couple of Astra VXRs lol. I wanted to go again this year but it's right in the middle of my holiday.
Yeah I want last year too after I got free tickets. Went to the Earls Court show
The actual 30-40 minutes show is pretty good fun but in general the event was a little disappointing. However it's a good chance to see some very exotic cars that you wouldn't see every day
Strangely for me the highlight was actually the Monaro VXR!
Went to earls court last time so going to give birmingham a whirl this time around.
In terms of the cars on display its nothing like the national motorshow that comes around every 2 years, but every car there is a supercar or something special in its own right.
The show itself lasted about an hour last time and was very good, just like a live top gear with stunts and stuff really.
Went to the Birmingham show last year. The show itself was great, and some awesome machinery.
Wasn't too pleased to find my rear passenger window smashed in after the first night at the Travel Lodge though, having just driven 500 odd miles the day before to get to the show. Nevermind.
I went to Earls Court in 03, missed 04 and then went to NEC last year.
I actually found that the NEC show last year was lacking over the Earls Court one, seemed like only 2/3's of the cars and stands went to the NEC one. It was the first year I think where they did both venues, so I hope this year they realise that the NEC is just as popular.
I dont know if i will be going. I went to the Excel car show in london, That was really interesting. Will check out the dates for MPH 06 and see what i can do
