How about premiership clubs somehow asked / forced to invest in local clubs - while this may mean a Derby Under 10 club being given less than one in Liverpool lets say, it would still be thousands more than they would be getting now.

What have local clubs got to do with premiership clubs?

Now either this muppet is deluded, and nobody else is thinking what he is. But how the hell else does Cricket manage to limit English county teams to only 1 foreign player then ?

Well mate its because 'overseas' in cricket means coming from NZ, Abostralia, India, Pakistan etc .. these countries are not part of the EU and so EU employment regs don't apply. When you think about it most 'foreign' players in footie come from the EU.
