Right, so after a hugely long time away from this, I'm back with an update

So, a while back I decided to change the case for this build to my storm sniper

so here are some pics of what I've done, sorry about the lighting in the pics the light in this room is horrible (in the process of building an extention

What do you guys think?

Great. Really like the orange mesh.

However I'm thinking you need to un-blue that fan at the front and swap in some white LEDs to complement the others and do something with the optical drive. Oh and the green fan in the PSU is a tad on the Green side.

Some ideas for future changes:-

Do you think the Drive bay clips would look good in Orange too?
Orange SATA cables?
Orange cable or extension braiding?

Still not doing it much justice with the camera though. I'm sure it looks much better in person.

well, I'm either gonna buy some orange extensions & sata cables/braid the psu

I quite like the look of the pci retention clips, but I'm gonna paint the 5.25" drive bay clips orange
I'm also gonna get some orange liquid
and the fans will be the hardest part for me, but I'll need to get a soldering iron, some orange/white leds and a multimeter
and finally...
I'm saving up for a new camera by the end of the summer, hopefully I can afford an entry-level dslr

Only just saw this - digging that mesh. Great paint jobbie too. You gonna add another double rad to the bottom? There looks like there might be room there

there is enough room

but with some modding and some ninja hiding of the hard drive and an external dvd drive, I could even possibly fit a 360mm rad in the front too

yeah I think if I was to get all of the stuff I'd want I'd need a sponsor, as I'm NOT spending another £200 or so on watercooling stuff, and all that stuff would be overkill for my rig

Changing the LEDs on a fan isn't that tricky.

I did a quick tutorial on it last year.

Depending on your existing fan wiring and associated resistor values you might get away with a straight swap Blue to Orange like I did. If you swap Blue for White then you wont need to do anything but swap and solder them in as the forward voltage on White is similar to Blue.

Is that clear liquid? How come you chose not to use orange due?
