From what iove heard these engines will just keep going if you look after them nicely :)

It has to be asked but...do you really think this is the best car for you?

If he likes in then yes more then likly it could be.

Or have i missed something?

Am i missing something here? Did you smash up a car?

Anyway, MR2 engines will go for a long time if as said are looked after. I presume you mean the 2.0 twin cam 16v engine, NON turbo. They are quite pokey cars, that can really scare you. I would reccomend the standard alloys with Yoki's or you will be seeing your arse overtake you on roundabouts, especially in this weather. 0-60 isn't phenomenal but it's still fast, and with the engine behind you, and you almost sat on the floor they are great fun to drive.

If you can afford a Turbo at your age and dont think you will stack it then go for it. :p

You are looking at a UK car then it isnt a GT. :p Its a GTi-16. :p

I take it its going to be an early MK2 for that money?

its a 1991 GTi T-Bar

is that not under the same insurance group as the GT T-Bar in the list? as there is no GTi-16 tbar on the list.

but there is a english GT T-Bar and a import GT T-Bar

So its either a Rev1 or Rev2. Think that was the change over year. Cant tell with out a pic.

Import GT (Real GT) will be a turbo. ;)
