Our very own Clown notified me of this last night on Instagram! Sadly this is the way of the internet, once something goes viral then it's out of your control and foolishly this was the first cinemagraph I made and didn't watermark it although a few sites have used the watermarked version but just cropped that bit out!

In the end the only thing I can do is send an IP infringement form to the relevant site owners and see how long they take to respond.

In the instance here, Instagram's source was removed by Instagram within hours and sent an email confirming it. Later I got an email from the uploader:

Happy New Year, i hope you're well; today i received an email from Instagram stating that they've removed a post from my page that you've highlighted as being your pic. Clearly there has been some sort of misunderstanding as me posting the video wasnt to claim any credit for myself. It was a video that i saw on FB that i thought was, i hope this hasnt caused you any stress.
