But yes, i did misread you there but i do wonder where the line would be drawn?

"be supervised" is a fairly open definition, and it seems the onus is on the learner driver to make sure the person accompanying them is up to the task

Supervise: to watch a person or activity to make certain that everything is done correctly, safely, etc.
If you're asleep or off your ****, you're not going to be supervising now are you?
