Heelllpppp

I have a new client who has 3 macs and a Access database As im not a mac expert how on earth can i get the macs to open a access database when Microsoft decided not to release access on MAC format?

They need to be able to view + edit the information in a central database.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

every day, would openoffice work? ive not tried it in a while i remember trying the same thing 2 years ago with no joy, just wondered if they had improved it since then?

Also another thing thats niggleing me, they want to store the access database on their central server, now like the other microsoft products if 1 user open the file it locks it for all other users. Will this do the same thing with access? I'm thinking it will :S and as such what they want to do they cant do...

I would imagine a way around this is to make a webpage that interfaces with the access database to work around the multiple user issue - i have done multi-user access stuff back in my college days but from what I remember it was fussy and EXTREMELY slow.

As for Macintosh compatibility it does not exist as far as I am aware.
