MS IntelliExplorer 3.0 Replacement

Firstly, thanks for the new section :) Now to the dilemma...

After many years of faithful service my MS 3.0 has started to die. I love its shape, weight and overall performance it has provided. As such, I now need a new replacement and would like recommendations from people that have been in a similar position as me.

Right now I am looking at the Razer Deathadder 2013....I would welcome thoughts from anyone that has used this or the older gen Razers. My concerns is the sensitivity / position of buttons...are they that much of a pain to get used to?

Please note, I have used a Xai in the past and it really wasn't for me due to the shape.

Deathadder is a good shout
but as an intellimouse user, i think you should consider the Zowie mice

they have an excellent reputation and are very similar to the intellimouse shape.

the EC2 is the one to go for. I tried one and its the only mouse that i would have over my Mamba.
 
I went from an intellimouse 1 to a deathadder. They're very similar to intellimice. But better. More accurate and better built / nicer to touch / use.
 
I bought a Intellimouse 3.0.. 3 or 4 years ago, used for 1 day and I didn't like because the mouse is HUGE, now it is lost somewhere in my home :P
I like small mouses to use more with my fingers than my hands.

This, except the EC1 as it's bigger than the EC2 and the intelli mouse 3.0 is a big mouse.
 
Mate, I advise against the Glossy one.

After a session (cheeky!) gaming, it'll get sweaty. Not that I have overly sweaty palms but it does get annoying.

I'd 100% stick with the Black one; it has a nice rubbery coating on it.

Honestly I don't think you will regret it. I've been banging on about these zowie mice for ages. Infact it was me that got Acemodder to buy them in the first place (christmas meal 2011 i think haha). As they were as Rare as rocking horse poop selling out all over the place no one could get big stock of them at all.

The original EC1 was proper hot property as a replacement to the intelli 3.0 in the counterstrike scene (but i won't bore you to death with the details)

I'll just say it's a great mouse comfortable feel nice size with excellent performance. The only reason i don't own one is becuase I snapped up a bargain in the sensei that RJK tested on his desk for a few weeks :o
 
For people who find this via search in future, if you like the Intellimouse then check out the Microsoft Habu (their not made anymore but should still be new ones knocking around) its a gaming mouse based on the Intellimouse made for MS by Razer (before they became big).
