MS lifecam vx-1000 issues

i just got one of these so i could record myself djing

the problem is it has an internal mic and i cant seem to get any software to configure taking sound from sound card

i tried debut webcam software but i just wont work :confused:

is there a way of recording with this cam and not using the internal mic, such as different drivers or software

control panel, sounds, recordin - disbale internal mic and select the desktop mic as primary
