Hi,
I have MS 302 speakers at the front and rear off my home cinema. I would to upgrade them to MS M20 speakers

Are MS M20 speakers any good? Would they be much of an upgrade over the speakers I have?

The MS 302 speakers have been good.

More of a diagonal step than a straight-forward upgrade.

The little MS302 satellites are great for movies but a bit limited for music. The limit with music is the same with most sub/sat systems until the budget starts to get very generous.

IMO the MS M20 will give you a bit more bass and a slightly larger scale of sound, but I don't believe the step up will be significant. There isn't enough of a difference in product cost (£69/pr vs £99/pr). If £100 is your budget, look at some of the older but larger MS speakers in the second-hand market. There are plenty of reviews online.

MS Avant 902i would be another 1/2 step up from the MS302

MS Aviano 2 would still keep the MS signature sound but give you more scale.

If you don't mind going vintage, the MS 20i Pearl are very fine speakers and capable of partnering with high-end sources and amps. Just watch out for the foam surround degrading.
