i have 3 accounts set up. this is my work laptop

work account (default)
google mail
personal account

is there a way if i create a new email it will be sent from whatever email account i'm in

at the minute it always sends it from the default account

ty :)

open mail message, click on 'accounts' on the tool bar and select the account you want to send from.

Hope it helps.

i have another problem with this now. i cannot send or reply to mail from the two new accounts i set up.

i get:

" Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject:
Sent: 24/03/2009 16:20

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

' ' on 24/03/2009 16:20
550 RCPT TO:<[email protected]> Relaying not allowed "

i followed all the settings correctly I'm sure. I'm receiving mail fine

It sounds like it's trying to send from your default account (work) 'as' your hotmail address, which won't work.

Make sure you're selecting the account to send from, not just putting the address in, in the 'from' field.

Also, yry downloading the add-on for Outlook that lets you send/receive from Hotmail in Outlook. (From what I remember, it's a bit weird....!)
