Need something simple like ms paint for Mac, I can't see one installed on my system by default (I'm prepared to be corrected though). If there is one by default where abouts is it, if not can you recommend a good free one?
I had looked high and low and never found a decent MS Paint alike.
I did find pixen - http://www.opensword.org/Pixen/ but it kept crashing on my MacBook, not sure why. I'll wait for the next version release (which I'm not sure when... )
Have a try and see how you find it.
If not, there's always G.I.M.P (more photoshop than MS Paint)
I use EZDraw for paint like stuff but it isn't free, Seashore or Inkscape are your best bet I feel for free stuff, although if you are using it seriously I would invest a little cash in one of the many great drawing/photo editing apps around. GraphicConverter or Imaginator are very reasonably priced but extremely powerful.
I want one for just drawing simple maths diagrams for tutor notes. So nothing to complex, I've downloaded SeaShore but I can't seem to get it to draw straight lines....clearly drawing packages aren't my strong point
Seriously, EazyDraw is what you want, there is a 9 month trial for $20 (£10 )
http://www.eazydraw.com/math.htm and take a look at the rest of the features list and screenshots as well. On the outside it looks like a noddy kids paint program but is very powerful and very easy to use. Even you could draw a straight line with it.
