hi, where has my margin slider thingy gone. with it gone my cursor is right at the top of the page (annoying ) i've checked my page setup with someones that works and it all seems ok?

I think you mean that the 'white space' is hidden.

If you move the cursor to the very top of the page (white sheet), then you should get an option (cursor changes to up/down arrows) to show/hide 'white space'.

Otherwise:

Tools - Options - View Tab - then 'Tick' the 'White Space Between Pages' box

Think that's what you're asking about.
