Hi all, just a quick query.
I'm in a position where I have an mSATA SSD to hand, and it needs to go into a motherboard that doesn't have an mSATA slot. The motherboard is to go into a small case so ideally I wouldn't use an mSATA to SATA caddy.
The motherboard in question does have an M2 slot however.
Now, from having a google there are connectors that will take an mSATA drive and convert it to an M2 pinout so that it can be connected.
So my question is - is this something that will work universally, or do I need to check the individual motherboard somehow?
Thanks.
