Behind you... Naked!
I have been asked to have a look at a PC and it has a sily issue.

First off, it would not boot off the HD, I have recovered the files via another PC and I went through a fresh install, it did everything as normal, I went into the BIOS cleared it, set to setup defaults etc, and installed XP with absolutely not worries.

I installed the drivers, shut it down and restarted and it got to the desktop and reset.

At first I asumed it was the drivers but in safemode and last known it restarts in those too

Now I cannot get into the BIOS, a white block covers half the screen, and there is a flashing cursor at the top.
When I go to install windows again, it goes through the entire process but then just at the point when it asks where to uninstall it, the PC powers off.

Im at a loss now?

Any ideas?

its an NEC MSI-7295 Motherboard.

The issues it has, certainly could point to PSU yes, however, I have swapped the innards over with another microATX and that works fine, while this lot in a proper case still has issues.

I dunno, I will quite probably just swap the Mobo with another one and have done with it.
