Msi 780i First Run

The problem is if you use cheap memory the whole thing becomes unstable, I can get a sold 4ghz clock with a P5N-T and a Q9650 swap out the reaper for some XMS and it just freeze a few seconds into prime, even with the timings slack. You just cannot expect to run a high end board with £30 ram.
 
Some peep in the Memory section things otherwise lol.

My Memory ran at 1000mhz 4:4:4:12 @ 2.1 in an AM2 Rig, wont go over 900mhz nor will FSB as this Mobo sucks and thats both tried on their own not IN sync.
 
Yeh lol. my EVGA 680i was pretty bad, good when it worked tho lol

I remeber when i bought my Corsair 10th anniversary ram was bloody expencive, could clock that to 1000mhz @ 3 3 3 11 T1 ( if i remember right :) ) in my 680i, cannot get it to run that well in my IP35 Pro tho :(

Was holding off for a XFX or EVGA board but if this does appear in monday i would seriously consider it, has anyone any experience with MSI?

I have no experience with any of them but had been hearing good things about XFX and EVGA, i just desperately need a new board, having the rest of my components sitting here has been killing me for weeks.
