MSI AB = Fluxtuating core clock?

Was testing out a new game and noticed while playing my core clock on my 7950 was fluctuating like crazy between 501mhz and my overclock 1000mhz.

This didn't happen to me before and the only thing I changed recently was updating drivers from 13.9 to 14.4. I took the overclock off, and tested again, this time it was normal and speeds stayed max.

I then attempted a more modest 950mhz overclock, but the problem occured again, even with the power limit set to 20%.

I then decided to use CCC to set the overclock, and this time my core speed happily stayed at 1000mhz.

Is there some sort of incompatibility with the newer AMD drivers and MSI AB?

You need to enable Graphics Overdrive or the power limit will not stick.

Yeah its new from 14.4 on...
