Hi just wondering if anyone can help I purchased a z390 carbon pro motherboard

But upon installing it and now wanting to use a m.2 drive it doesn't come with any m.2 standoffs

I've also looked at manuals for other MSI boards and they don't seem to either

Am I missing something if not where can I get one from

are you sure?
usually the stand offs are already fitted to the board
not used a msi board that had m2
but all the other manufacturers i have used already had
silver stand offs for m2 installed

looking at manufacturers web page
and it looks like theres one stand off installed
its on the mounting hole furthest left
most boards give you more than 1
but if only got 1 you just move it to suit the size of m2 you have
the stand offs are usually tight to unscrew
pliers, mole grips etc may be needed

MSI X299 Pro here. Stand offs were pre installed on both of the M2 slots on the board. From memory the hold down screws were also attached although I am not 100% on that (both slots have heatsinks).

M2 stand offs are normally installed on all boards where there are M2 slots with the screws sometimes being included in small bags within the motherboard box.

I'm positive and if you Google board the image shows no standoffs as well

Oweneades the screws are in box on mine on 2 little bags

now you got to find the tiny screws lol
i hate those tiny screws with a passion
why a simple plastic latch isnt used is ridiculous

Its when the little so and so pings off and drops down behind the motherboard that it gets annoying... Had this happen on my wife's ITX build with her Aorus B450i board. What made it worse was everything has to be installed in order due to space constraints and thus pretty much everything ended up coming back out again...
