I don't understand why stand off is screwed to board, but screw to secure the M.2 drive is in a tiny bag just lying in the box by itself?

I know the screw needs to be removed, but I nearly didn't see the tiny little bag with the tiny little screw when getting motherboard out of the box. Someone could easily lose that. If the stand off were in a bag too, it might be more noticeable.

Would be better still if it were in a larger bag with some other things, that would make it less likely to be missed.

I did have to lay the PC on it's side though when fitting a drive. Trying to do that upright is the pain in the butt of all pain in the butts. :p

@Vince
no experience of cad or 3d printing
so if its a crap idea just say so lol
any way to do away with the screw altogether?
little arm/lever with a pin on it?
pin would need a teardrop or upside down conical end to it
so friction would hold it in place
but could still rotate 90 degrees to lock/unlock the drive
not had any sleep so that might be a stupid impractical idea lol
i couldnt think of a way to make the screw captive to the plastic
as dropping the screws the main problem
so thought of that instead
though perhaps just a slot like on those security chains
you put on the back of doors?
screw head slides down the slot to the end?
if i am making no sense just slap me mate
i can picture what i mean in my head though lol

a very long time ago i worked in compaq
they literally dropped screws by the thousands on the assembly line
they dont bother picking them up
and thats screws the size of motherboard screws and stand offs
getting assembly line workers to put those tiny screws in
probably 80% of the screws would be on the floor
