MSI graphics card warranty

Does MSI require original receipt for warranty purposes or serial number is just fine? Cheers

Should be serial number as just done a motherboard, but i had to tell them i lost the receipt and warranty is based on serial number.

Not sure but when I registered mine on their site, they asked to upload a receipt.

I assume if you don't have a receipt, it would just be from the manufacturing date.

Recently RMA'd mine, they asked me to email a copy of the invoice.
