MSI GT72 with MXM Graphics - Upgradable

The 970/980M may work, it seems to be doing well in older MSI models but double check at NBR.

I've had scan through the gx660 thread (massive), but can't find any info on these newer cards being fitted
Looking at the specs, it would seem the 970m is the way to go as I believe it's 100W same as my 7970m, the 980m is higher and no idea of the motherboard can supply it?

No idea where to get the proper heat sink either

I am also interested in progress with gx660. I have MSI gx600r myself and after upgrading CPU to i7 940xm, RAM to 16 GB and PSU to 240W would like to try with 970m/980m... It would be exiting to give MSI a new life...
