MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk GPU not detected

Hi

I have just built a new pc with MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk and AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, when I turn it on all the fans usb and LED's come on, the chipset fan spins and then stops and the LED diagnostic lights up with GPU cannot be detected.
The monitor says cable not connected.
I am trying to use the on board graphics.
I have tried using 1 memory slot, resetting the cmos and removing the m.2 drive but still the same.
Can anyone offer some advice to trouble shoot please.

Do you have a GPU as the 5900X doesn't have onboard graphics so won't boot up without a GPU installed.

If you are using a GPU and it's not working then it maybe you have a faulty board which is part of a bad batch as there has been a few posts lately with Gpus not working in the top PCIe slot on that particular board.
