Hey guys,

I'm trying to identify what the socket is for the MSI MS-7050 motherboard. It's from an HP dx5150 Small Form Factor PC, but some resources say its Socket754, while another says Socket939.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Cheers

From what i could find it appears that that model pc can take anything from a 3000+ through to an X2 4800 which means it is socket 939. It is very difficult to actually find out any info on that motherboard though. From what little i could find it has an ATI Radeon Express 200 chipset with onboard x300 graphics. You could try running CPU-Z which will tell you what socket it is. Sorry i could'nt find anything else out.
