I'm having problems with my first sata hard drive. I've tried removing the nvidia drivers and stuff beforehand but the system just hangs on a black screen when booting Windows. It does the same in safe mode. I know its not the hard drive or the jumper or anything. I have a spare Sil3114 pci sata card and the drive works perfectly with it.
I could just run it like this but its really bugging me why the mobo sata ports don't work! Got any ideas why its doing this?
