MSI's 2600XT benched

looks good although proper gaming benchmarks would be better (ie the HD2900XT does really well in 3dmarks but in game performance in some games is lacking - compared to the 8800GTS)

However I must say ATI need to get the price right on this card. Anything over £130-140 to me would be pointless as you may as well spend the extra on the 8800GTS 320mb.

This card needs to be quicker than the 8600GTS (not that hard a task) and undercut it on price.
 
theres a little artical on the 1gb version of the 2900, when is the 2600 etc going to be relased for sale?
 
QX6800 and X6800 are different CPU's

The (Q)X6800 is the Quad core version, then the X6800 is the Dual Core running at 2.93GHz. ;)
 
They did stock it, but not anymore, I suppose made obselete by the quads, because they were hardly costed anything more.

Hmmm am I the only one who is bothered by the low sm2.0 score?
Hmm it's just a bit faster than a 1950 pro in 3dm05, should have made the card 20-30% faster to be a worthy upgrade imo.
But yes good thing it beats 8600GTS, all we need is a proper price, instead of a conspiracy to keep prices high between amd & nvidia, roll on intell :D .
 
Its crippled by a 128bit memory interface as usual.

Its a shame really, from those pics on Fudzilla it looks like such a powerfull card, all black :D, looks preety long tho.
