MSN Explorer

I've just had a call from a friend saying that MSN explorer has disappeared. I had a quick scout on the microsoft site but the only link I could find is dead.
Is MSN explorer still in existant? Perhaps someone could let me know what the point of it is? Is it something I should reinstall?

I've always removed it from my start menu when ever I've setup windows and never used it (don't remember actually uninstalling it though). Where is it located on disk?

Right, found an installer for it and found the default install path I think, can anyone confirm that the install from the win xp cd installs to:
C:\Program Files\MSN\MSNCoreFiles\msn6.exe

This is where the installer I downloaded installed it.
Also anyone know of any reason it should disappear? I'm assuming it might just be one of those things. Just want to know if it is some deliberate thing by microsoft
