I've been using Bingo! IM for quite some time but it seems to have stopped working for the past few weeks; my friends have the same problem where the app just refuses to log you in and closes the connection. I had a lookaround for some alternatives but I can't seem to find anything other than eBuddy which was quite shocking.

Does anyone know of any good messenger android apps? I'm running a HTC Desire HD with the latest android version.

Any help will be appreciated.

I use it on my desktop instead of MSN also as the Microsoft client was getting very bloated.

In fact Trillian is all I use for Facebook, MSN, Google talk and Skype (though I have to load up that bloated horrible thing if I want to make a video call... here's hoping Trillian 5.2 comes with Skype video calling, they have promised it).

It's a bit of a shame they have added in advertising for non premium users ($12 a year), but tbh they aren't that intrusive.
