Msn problem

Don't know where to put this so please move if its the wrong place.

On monday I kept trying to get onto msn and it would log me in, but randonly log me out and the not reconnect. Eventually it decided to let me stay on but when talking to my friends I noticed a bit of a problem.

It would come up with '.....Is typing a message' then this would dissapear for about 20 seconds, then I would get the message. I would then end up getting about 4 messages all at exactly the same time that obviously had been sent over a period of a couple of minutes.

This makes it a bit hard to have a conversation with anyone because its taking forever to get a response to anything.

Anyone know what the problem is?
 
I've never had that exact problem before no, but back in the day when I was on MSN I did have similar problems of no messages...100 messages all at once, and most of them asking why I was ignoring people...I thought it was them ignoring me :p

Are you on dial up perchance?
Or are you getting large torrent files or anything?

Lack of bandwidth would be my first thought anyway.

Am on BY 4mb and am not downloading anything. At the moment I pretty much just use the pc for msn and research for my uni exams.
