MSN problem?

Interestingly, whenever my contacts are 'offline' and I send them an 'offline' message.... it becomes an email instead.... I'm fairly sure this never ever used to be the case....

Any ideas?

Are you using windows live messenger?

If a contact is offline then I found that it'll save a message that I send to them and then it sends it when they appear online.

However I did find that if e.g. I rebooted my computer or performed a maintenance clean then it'll get sent by email..which is weird for the recipient because they just get a load of emails each with nothing more than a sentance.

Exactly... I didn't believe them at first till I talked to myself offline on a different account... Only happens to me out of those I know.
