MSN transfers are slow

I took a hell of a lot of pictures from my Digi cam. But when ever I try to send ANY file accross, or whenever I am recieving a file it goes really slow

I know it's my end because my freinds complain when file transfers are going slow. With everyone else it goes fast.

I've got Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 (Firewall + Anti Virus)

The only thing I can think of right now is ports. You may have some ports closed that are needed to send files directly to another user on msn, but because your ports are closed the file is being routed through the MSN network which is why it is slow. Maybe.

I will have a look around a little later on for you.
