Sure, what can I use to test this? Can't seem to find anything in HDTach. The unit is rated at 90MB/s write speed.
I am very pleased with the drive although I was pleased with the slower one I sent back. I have currently got Vista Business 32-bit on the drive along with some of my most regular used apps. Everything feels much more responsive and also there is no noise at all.
It's still running as RAID instead of AHCI though as I can't be bothered to re-install Vista and all my apps again (restored from True Image file) unless anyone knows of a way to do it post-install. AHCI mode may make it even faster because currently I can't set the "Enable write caching on the disk" and "Enable advanced performance" settings from device manager. The options are grayed out due to being in RAID mode.
