Hey,

I have a radeon X1950pro and an nvidia 7300LE is there any possible way I can have both cards installed and just select which card I use under the OS (as I have 2)

There may be a chance with hardware profiles - but its possible

I have installed more recent gpu's from different manufacturers in the same pc but it never fully worked for me, but that could have been mobo related.
 
I doubt it, as the motherboard will have a primary and secondary pci-e slot, and will pick the card in the primary slot as the main card.
