Hey,

My work PC is using a 5000x intel chipset which doesn't support SLI. However, I want to run more than two monitors. Can I do that using dual gfx cards in a non SLI mode?

Cheers!

I don't know that chipset, motherboard model is helpful, but in theory it should be possible if it has more than one pci-e slot (you can get pci-e x1 slot graphicsc cards), or if only 1 pci-e graphics card slot and the rest are pci slots you should be able to fit a pci graphics card I think and hook up a second monitor.

any modern gfx card will have two DVI or VGA ports so dual monitors should be possible off one card without needing to use the mobo port.
