Hi people.

So having taken the plunge and bought myself the EVGA 1070GTX, I have had an issue where I can't get the tv accept a 2160p signal. It is currently configured where my main display is a 24inch Dell 1920x1080@60Hz connected via DVI and my second display is a Panasonic TX-50CX700B. Now when connected via HDMI it is detected within Windows as a display at the 2160p native resolution but the screen remains black at all frequencies. If I reduce this to 1080p the screen displays fine.

Is there something I will be missing? The HDMI cable in question is quite long, about 3 metres. Would this affect it?

Have you tried dropping the refresh rate to 30Hz while at 2160p?

Looking at the specs for the TV however it does say it can do 4K @ 60/50Hz, although it doesn't say if it's only certain HDMI ports.

Shouldn't affect it too much but is the HDMI cable 2.0 spec?

Just checked, the cable says 1.3b

Is this bad?
