Hey everyone, really need your two cents on some matter.

So, I've settled with a dual monitor setup with U2715H and U2414H, powered by a single 980.

Their proportion are really a sweet spot for myself for the purpose of main gaming 1440p monitor and secondary auxiliary 1080p monitor.

However, I don't seem to be able to find a way to map the monitors according the their size instead of pixels.

In simpler terms, I would like to be able to move my cursor from the main monitor to the secondary monitor horizontally in a straight line.

Have you set your main screen in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution?

And set multiple displays as extend these displays?

You can't do it with the monitors you have - i.e. there isn't a way of mapping size instead of res.

I can do it on my set up (29" 2560x1080 + 23" 1920x1080 at the side) because the vertical dimensions are the same for both monitors.

its unusual that the windows tool doesn't work ok but their are solution in the nvidia and amd utilities where you can cover both the crens with a horizontal image and then with both bezels touching you align the image to create the horizontal line across them both that's the best option it worked on mine as i have a 27 and a 24 monitors with effectively same set-up.
