Thanks Tom, I'd read that spiel before on a different site.



This is the vague comment that's throwing me. If they activate for both (as in either or) then I'm not sure how it could claim to be less susceptible to false alarms. I've emailed Aico to ask about it and will see what they say.

From reading that I'd take both the optical and heat sensor work in series. Both needing to detect before the alarm triggers.
