Just got a new mac etc, but I am struggling to find a decent MSN client that allows sign into two places at once.

The current PC version lets me be logged in from home and work at the same time, however I have tried Adium and MSN for Mac and both will log me out of my other logins.

Anyone have an idea what I can use?

Cheers

thats sterange. on Windows MSN mine used to log me out if i had another one open in a different location is took ages to reailse but did do it.

you sure this is the case with your windows manchine?

I think clients wont make any difference i think it would MSN's servers that would determine if it should DC you or not.

however i could be wrong

The current version of MSN on Windows, allows you to log into multiple places as long as you have ticked the box

Find the MSN 8 Mac Alpha Release. It allows multiple logins.

"Version 8.0.0 was expected to reach beta in 2009 with webcam and audio support. An unreleased and unstable version of Microsoft Messenger for Mac, labeled as version 8.0.0, was shown at Macworld Conference & Expo at the Macintosh Business Unit booth which contained webcam and audio support but no other new features.[2] There is a leaked version of Microsoft Messenger For Mac version 8 with unstable webcam and audio support. A beta of version 8 will be released in March 2010."

I found it. It was quite stable but I have since switched to Adium for presence on FaceBook, Gmail Chat, Yahoo and MSN in one package. Search rapidshare et cetera.... should be about 64 megs.
