A little known fact about the unibody touchpad is that it can distinguish between up to eleven touch points - i.e., fingers.

Another little known fact is that the sensor knows about the contact surface area (in terms of ellipsoids).

Another yet less known fact is that Johan Nordberg didn't sleep much last night, and wrote a neat OS X application which simply plots what the trackpad (or Magic Mouse!) is saying about touches.

Neat app. It's impressive how precise it is, especially the elliptical contact aspect.

That's fun :D

I'm now officially waiting for someone to hack the magic mouse up to enable three finger swipes for exposé. I'm currently using two fingers right for it but it's not ideal.

Woah, impressive!

Let me get this right, are you saying it's possible to configure the Magic Mouse to use exposé?
If that's the case that may just swing a purchase.
