Multiplay Insomnia. What do *you* do when you go, if you go?

Cheers :)

Can someone translate this for me please? I don't understand what i'm being asked to decide here. Is it whether I pay for the extra services up-front or at the event?

Drinking competition between punters and Multiplay :P

Tried for a while to get Bigclan included in it so a 3 way and they said no.

So bigclan had there own boatrace at I43

Oh its a drinking game :D

Well thats just great... I can down a pint of anything in a few seconds. Its one of my many mediocre party-pieces :p

This whole time I have been wondering how and why people would race boats xD

Wow, i went to i3 in Swindon. Didnt know this was still going!

lol i feel old....

Slept on the floor under the table where my pc was for a couple of hours.
The smell in that place was bad at the end of it all! Plus i had to stop half way home to have a sleep in the car.

I went to i4 in Swindon, and I'm only 26 so I wouldnt worry about it ;)

Havent been to one since perhaps i8 or so. All I remember is that it was the day a new CS beta was released on the Saturday of the event and that it was in Newbury.

Although I havent been to one for years, if I was part of an active clan I would consider it for sure - It can be great fun.

I always go with Hall 2 near the tuck shop but as my clan leader booked our tickets this year he will have a say where we go!

One of our group Dwarfy has been doing this for ages to the point where after the spate of thefts at I48 he got requests to make them for others again on the Multiplay forum

Yeah I included a link to the original thread in my OP mate. The one pictured in ours wasn't one of Dwarfys but more or less the same thing :)

Cheers :)

Booking system is terrible.. It says you've booked and paid.

If you wanted early arrival (which i do suggest) , then tick that and pay again but just for that additional service.

I haven't paid yet, this is the part before I put in my card details. Those are the options I have chosen. (BYOC + early arrival + 5 raffle tickets) but only the top one was ticked by default.

So with that in mind, I just tick all three boxes and proceed to pay?

I don't understand why it is giving me that option when I chose to add the extras already :p

*edit* yeah that seems to have done it. I got an email saying:

"Booking Ref: 217848
Event: i49
Area: Other Games
Booking Type: Participant
Days Booked: Event Ticket (covers all event days)
i-Series Discount Level: None
Services Booked = Early Arrival Service, Raffle Tickets
Booking Amount = £92.00 (inc. VAT)
Services Amount = £20.00 (inc. VAT)
Discounts/Payments Made = £18.40
Total Amount = £93.60 (inc. VAT)"

Check out the Multiplay forums if you're looking for a group to join and chill with.
Only me and a mate going this event, rather than the 8 of us, so we'll be looking for a group too probably! :) What games do you play btw?

Hi, multiplayer wise I will most likely be playing Borderlands 2 co-op, left for dead 2 co-op, league of legends (only started playing recently so still a 'noob'), Minecraft and Battlefield 3 (I may buy a couple more titles specifically for the event, Crysis 3 and Battlefield 3 are on the maybe pile there)

Singleplayer wise I might play a bit of Skyrim, Fallout NV and Bioshock Infinite.

I'm up for playing other things of course. There are many more games in my library, the above are just the ones i'm playing frequently at the moment and as I said, I would most likely buy a couple more games for i49.

I'll look on the multi forums in a-bit and see if I can get a group together/join a group.

:)

I'd happily join you on Borderlands 2 (Not played it yet, just completing number now)

We'll be attending i49 mate, plenty of us are OcUK members, usually gather between 15-20 of us at summer LAN!

Cheers guys :) I'll probably be wandering around talking to different groups of people a fair bit. Want to get to know different groups to see where I fit in. At the moment i'm apparently sitting with LFGG and will be giving BigClan a visit, and hopefuly TFU as well.

What games do you guys play generally iKettles? I'm not too hot on competitive FPS', I - how you say - suck at them :D

And sounds good skylineboy :) We can start a new campaign then if you want? I'll probably play as a siren, as I play as a sniper most of the time. Will be a good change :)
