Multiplayer GRAW2 demo

Only play multiplayer? Then this is the right game. Who cares if it's 1.1. Version 1 was a scream online. With Ocuk players its was much better because you can host more than 8 and regularly did.

R6 is as good online but not as many people seemed to have bothered with it.

I reckon I played Version 1 from march to october/nov regularly online. I know just about everyone I played that with, krono apart will get version 1.1 so i'm guarenteed some more good nights of fun.

Seriously, not being able to run and throw grenades, run and shoot rockets(ok that might be challenging in real live), swim, climb small non-threatening picket fences, drop small distances. getting stuck on nothing, foliage (and lampposts) that were indestructible, etc


Oh not to mention grenades that whenever thrown always landed at my feet ;)

Ah blimey! Didn't realise his xbox blew up! Although in a good way... means he can't kill me on GRAW2! ;)

There's lots of shrubs and bushes on the level on the MP demo, i'll see if you can through them etc this afternoon, and see if there are ledges to see if anything has been done with regards to them. Although in the few games i've had I kept getting shot to bits by a big gun thing!

And the grenades landing by your feet... that's just you! You're a natural target for them :D
 
I agree with your comments krono....patched GRAW a few more pretties but that about it, gimmie quake 4 or fear anyday :)

That's it exactly - great fun! It was "the" game to play for 6-7 months! Forget the single player campaign - the Multiplayer side is where the action is.

like both GRAW an vegas

but the only thing that bugs me about both is the spawning of enemies at trigger points

it would be so much better if ALL the enemies were already in place on the map and it was your direct actions that determined what they did

I think its the train yard on vegas after you rescure the mexican hostages..I sen the team down the rope and you can see a guy just pop out of midair on the far side of the map..why cant he already be there then its up to me whether I use a silenced psg1 and not bringing every other guy on the map runnign towards me

pretty much means I will be buying GRAW2 as well..at least you can now carry an mp5 and a sniper rifle/anti tank missile

Version 1 seems the same to me. I don't think it's worth £40 for more of the same personally.

(I know what you're going to say but CoD3 was the 1st CoD game I've played.)

Since when have you ever paid full price for a game :p

As the add on was 1400 points I think £28 ish for a complete full player game and more campaigns, more co-op, more guns, more levels aint all that bad.

Loving what Ive seen so far.

GRAW 1.1 so what, if it aint broke dont **** with it. All sequels are like that, GOW 2 will be GOW 1.1.

Dont care if I love the game style and play.

Each to their own.

Edit just had some peni have a pop at me because I have a 16k Gamerscore and have my zone set to family :confused:

I for one cannot wait for this game, multi player & co-op was amazing on no.1, had some good laughs on it with OCuK members also, dannyjo up for some more co-op when it's released? :cool:

I was including the map pack they will release in the price (aka shush you! :p ).
All I was saying was that as long as GRAW1 is still popular I see no need for me to upgrade :) Nothing sinister was meant by any of my posts.

You can count on it. :cool: Only played a few last night, didnt want to ruin it too much for full games. I dont think it was possible to invite friends on the demo so I didnt stick around playing it that much. Like the new weapons I used, like the maps.

Thought I'd wait til march :D
 
loving this new improved graw2, however there is one thing im finding really irritating.the damn controls!!!!
im not the best with the pads but i can pretty much cope with r6: vegas, cod3 etal........it just seems really overly sensitive and ends up with me wobbling all over the place trying to pin down an enemy:( plus i cant find the sensitivity option in the game options menus.
oh, and stil the usual spawn campers in multiplayer...ho hum.

I love it, just got my nephew to play a game against me, so he could get a taste of MP action and I could talk him through the controls.

I quite like the ggame where you have to protect a certain member of your team from the other team. Nice addition.

You can do that in GOW. We just never bothered
