multiple devices, same account- separate ids?

Not sure if it is possible to do so here goes:
my two daughters- 9 + 10- have an ipod touch and old iPhone of mine, along with their ipad minis that are all on my iTunes account, along with my iPhone and Ipad Pro.
is it possible for my girl's devices to be able to message/face time etc without it stating it is "dad's Iphone" ie. name each device to see who's it is so my wife and I can message facetime them individually
Long winded question but wondering if it is possible

Tried that but still says it’s my phone messaging- think I will need to set up new apple ids just for messaging

in that case yep, this will be the case. It will be tied to the Apple ID.
